We are government auditors. We spend our time combing through government records looking for lost and unclaimed funds. Our goal is to recover our client’s money before Governmental Agencies absorb these assets for themselves.

Government Agencies routinely hold billions of dollars of “Excess Funds” from a variety of civilian sources. They give only a perfunctory attempt to contact the rightful owners of these funds for return. There is a reason for this. They have a legal mechanism call “Escheating,” which allows them to legally absorb these funds if they remain unclaimed. Thus, these agencies are not very motivated to let go of this financial surplus.

Escheating. It’s a peculiar term. Sounds like Us Cheating, doesn’t it. Well, we’ll leave that determination to you. However, we feel like people should get money belonging to them back before the Government absorbs it.
